Leader: Iraqis Will Resist U.S. Control

TEHRAN, Iran - The leader of the biggest Iraqi opposition group said Tuesday that Iraqis would fight any U.S. domination after Saddam Hussein is toppled.

"Coalition forces are welcome in Iraq as long as they help the Iraqi people get rid of Saddam's dictatorship, but Iraqis will resist if they seek to occupy or colonize our country," said Ayatollah Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim, leader of the Tehran-based Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq.

Such resistance, the Shiite leader told a news conference in Tehran, would include "the use of force and arms."

Can ya blame them? Pushing regime change is reasonable...pushing religious and cultural changes is immoral. I don't buy for a millisecond that we want to respect the Muslim way. And this article does not surprise me......Christianity will be pushed down their throats...holy roller style.....UGH!

Plans Under Way for Christianizing the Enemy

Two leading evangelical Christian missionary organizations said Tuesday that they have teams of workers poised to enter Iraq to address the physical and spiritual needs of a large Muslim population.

The Southern Baptist Convention, the country's largest Protestant denomination, and the Rev. Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse said workers are near the Iraq border in Jordan and are ready to go in as soon as it is safe.
