KGW TV News in Portland, Oregon is reporting (KGW link) tonight that the Feds have awarded ZERO..zip..nada funds for homeland security for our low risk state. KGW also alluded to the fact that perhaps we were shunned because of our non compliance with Ashcrofts' orders to arrest our foreign-nationals. Our senators, Wyden and Smith were clearly upset. Gordy Smith said that he needs to go back and "do his homework" at todays news conference. He better do more than his homework. We need some major ass kissng. I'm wondering if the arrest of Mike Hogwash has anything to do with ur non-compliance of tracking, investigating and arresting suspicious Arab-Americans. Perhaps we are being used as an example? I'm just asking.....

House Bill 2939 passed in committee (GASP!!).. The proposed amendments are attempting to take medical cannabis cards away from patients that have any previous drug violations or a record of blatant abuse of drugs. (How far back to search in criminal records is still unsure).

Mandates patients take an educational course before the Health Division will issue a medcal mj card.

Amend the cards issued to patients to include patient's grow spot. This could be the patients home or a caregivers home.

Limits patients to one grow spot. More to come..........
