In Season: planting garden........

Life doesn't get much better than this.....sitting in my lawn chair.....dusk.....watching the Sternwheeler slip by.

My herb garden grew by leaps and bounds this year. Besides, the fennel, parsley, rosemary, thyme, peppermint, cilantro, Mexican oregano, basil, calendula, and valerian plants I have establshed, a friends gave me transplants for scullcap, monkshood, another valerian, milk thistle, lemon balm and a few more medicinal herbs I forget. I can't believe I don't even have echinacea. Put that on the list for the next nursery run. I still have a lot more to plant in my garden and the weather is cooperating by staying dry. My back isn't liking this bending over, but alas it will soon be done. I must keep gardening....
