Many years ago, when my sons were in grade school, I banned violent video watching as a family activity. Too much tv watching, especially containing violence, affects and influences young people's minds in various ways, I strongly felt. Since I had seen enough violence growing up on Long Island, New York, I was bound and determined to raise my young sons away from the blood and gore so common in city life and emulated in action films. One day I heard Ahnuld publicy say that violence on tv does not affect children. Of course, this was about the time when Terminator came out and his hype was Hollywood propoganda, in my eyes. Since then I have yet to watch or spend a dime on an Ahnuld film. To me he is just one more blotch on the face of America's overweight agenda to desensitize our youth's minds to violence.
