Arcata California, one of my fav towns....... wants to impeach our Frat boy in Chief

The Arcata City Council last night adopted a resolution calling for the impeachment of George W. Bush, Richard B. Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld for violations of international and Constitutional law. The resolution cites the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq as “crimes against peace”, the supreme crime under the Nuremberg Principles, and a violation of the Geneva Accords and the United Nations Charter. As ratified treaties, these accords have the status of the “supreme law of the land” under the United States Constitution (Article VI), so violation of these treaties constitutes a violation of the Constitution, which is cause for impeachment.

The FBI phucked up the Brandon Mayfield case: the Portland Oregon area lawyer and Muslim convert. He was not involved in the Madrid Spain bombings, an accusation he was detained for in 2004, for two weeks. -LINK-

FBI fingerprint examiners made repeated errors and relied on an “extraordinary set of coincidences” to wrongly identify Brandon Mayfield as a material witness to the 2004 Madrid bombings and insisted they were right even after Spanish authorities said the evidence pointed to another man, a government report said today. The inspector general of the U.S. Justice Department also said the mistakes in the Mayfield case were so serious that the bureau now has instituted a monthly review of Death Row inmates scheduled for execution whose cases depended on FBI fingerprint identifications.
