Global Warming Status: Alive and Well

As an ex-coworker would say, "It's hotter than a popcorn fart!!" He was a bit rough around the edges but I always remembered that expression. It accurately describes the weather the last two days. It has been over 100 degrees and this is unusually warm weather for this time of year. I can't remember ever having such hot weather in June in all my 26 years of living in Oregon. Records have been broken around Oregon today yet no one on the news correlates these extreme temperatures to global warming but I will and I hope I'm wrong.
