Why I use Medical Cannabis, part 666
A new analysis shows that some popular nonsteroidal pain killers are just as likely to increase the risk of heart attacks as the Cox-2 inhibitors, two of which were removed from the market. Researchers described the risk as “modest” for people who do not already have heart or vascular disease. LINK
I have tried many of these anti-inflammatory painkillers and I was never informed about the increased risk of stroke or heart attack. It doesn't seem rational to me to use these drugs and risk a heart attack. I would rather live with some pain and use cannabis, ice and heat therapy, along with yoga and meditation for pain. I would rather have pain and some inflammation than a paralyzed part of my body. I can hear me now...Pardon my paralysis but my inflammation is just dandy...
