Walden vs Voisin....Oregon's Second Congressional District
Greg Walden has a challenger for his seat in Congress this November. Carol Voisin might not have as much financial backing as incumbent Walden [LINK], but her vision of Oregon and America involves a progressive stance on the Iraq war, health care, the national debt and the environment. She has received endorsements from the AFL/CIO labor union and the Sierra Club.
Why is she running for office?
That's why I endorse:
Voisin for congress LINK

I am running for office because I’m very concerned about our country. We are very vulnerable. Our country is at risk, because of the Bush administration policies and Walden who has voted for those policies. Loaded Orygun LINK
Some examples of Walden's voting record include:
- Voting favorably for the Federal Marriage Amendment which prohibits gays from marrying. LINK
- Support of the Iraq War LINK
- He supported the Medicare Part D drug plan. LINK
- Not in favor of protecting medical marijuana patient's state's rights. The only congressman who voted No. LINK
- His environmental record LINK
