Hypertext Markup Language E-Voting
Oregon has developed a revolutionary vote by computer system for alter-abled folks who usually require assitance ...
A new ballot that can be e-mailed and read by a computer now allows people with disabilities to vote just like Hale did. It's being used for the first time statewide, and developers said the ballot is generating interest from voting districts from as far away as Florida. The HTML ballot, so-called because it uses Hypertext Markup Language, is available upon request to voters with disabilities such as vision impairment or limited mobility. It is sent as an e-mail and can be filled out with the help of a Web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. Statesman Journal Link
