Synchronicity

On December 11 I wrote about always wearing appropriate footwear whenever I get in my car in case I get a flat tire or experience other car problems. Yesterday, I woke up to a flat tire in the rear of my Subie. The car was in the driveway so I put on my waterproof hiking boots and Carharts work coat and put on the spare. The lug nuts were a pain in the ass but with additional leverage I was able to loosen them and put on my spare. I went to Les Schwab (luv to watch those tire guys work...and they all have the same haircut...is there a standard Les Schwab haircut?) and got my tire repaired and all was well in my universe again. Wouldn't ya know it I have another flat on the front of my Subaru now. Cwap! Did I ever mention that I have a hard time asking for help. I am fiercely independent and very self reliant. Unfortunately, I aggravated my degenerative disks in my lower back and now I am screaming in pain. Time to light up a bowl of marijuana and nurture my aches and pains. Like I tell my girlfriend....It's always something!!1!

And by the way, I have electricity again after 15 hours of living in the dark ages.....
