Kucinich Thanked for Compassion on Medical Marijuana
MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- Responding to a statement at a campaign event today by Granite Staters for Medical Marijuana (GSMM), Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) reiterated his support for changing federal law to allow people with cancer, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, and other serious illnesses
to have medical marijuana, with their doctors' approval.

The planet's largest marijuana policy reform rally will be held in Seattle this weekend. The 12th annual Hempfest sounds interesting. I would drive up if my fibromyalgia wasn't wreaking havoc in my life.

Prescription Pot, is a new book by a man who has the same syndrome as I have. George McMahon and I were born with nail-patella syndrome, an inherited, degenerative syndrome that causes permanetly dislocated joints, missing or small kneecaps, glaucoma, potential kidney failure, and missing thumbnails. I believe the book will be published in September, 2003.

George, who has a website named Patients Out of Time sent me this notice, too.

The Third National Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics
