Medical marijuana patients will have a special reason to celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, Feb. 14 -- Oregon's 144th birthday. The Life with Dignity committee will file a ballot initiative in Salem then that would expand the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act. The initiative would require the Oregon Department of Human Services to license and regulate dispensaries where registered patients would be able to purchase medical marijuana. Dispensaries would also be required to allocate 20% of thier medicine for indigent patients whose physicians recommended it to them. More info found at Voter Power
